How do games work?

Each lesson includes an interactive game, which is fully embedded in the lesson. The purpose is to create a memorable, fun, challenging learning experience for children. All questions link to the lesson’s essential learning outcomes, and it is one of our children’s favourite parts of the lesson!

You always have a choice of themes:

  • Basketball Shootout
  • Jungle Quest
  • Space Adventure
  • Penalty Shootout

Each question offers three possible answers for the children to choose from. They can try again if they don’t get the answer correct on the first attempt. A correct answer is accompanied by additional contextual information to keep building on the learning and comprehension of the lesson.

What are Activities, and how should I use them?

Each lesson includes a selection of age-appropriate offline activities that link to the lesson’s essential learning outcomes. Links to the activities are embedded in the lesson, and where applicable, have teacher’s notes for guidance and printable worksheets which you can download from the teacher’s notes.

We include activities for independent learning, working in pairs, and whole class activities. For years 1-6, we also offer a PE play-based activity in the Play section.

How can you help me with planning for my PSHE curriculum?

We provide several planning documents to help you achieve your PSHE goals. These can be found by clicking on the Planning Documents link on the left-hand navigation.

Click on an individual image to view the document online. You can also download it to distribute to teachers.
