Today Your Child Learned…
Dear Parent & Guardian,
We are excited to share that your child has completed the following PSHE lesson. Check out our overview and top tips to support their development…
Today’s PSHE Lesson
The Human Body (How our Body Works)
Learning about how our body moves, works and supports us is what your child has been finding out about. Knowing the names of major organs and bones in the body and how our skeleton supports us and enables us to move is important. Realising how important our bones and organs are to us is an important lesson.
What We Covered In The PSHE Lesson
Here’s what we went through today…
- How muscles and bones work together to help us move and be active.
How You Can Help From Home
Here’s what you can talk about during dinner…
- Talk about how exercise and a balanced diet can affect the way our organs and our bodies work and what we can do to keep our bodies fit and healthy.
Go Above & Beyond
Here are some other ideas to support your childs PSHE lessons…
- Ask your child what they know about the human body and how it works.
- Look at pictures showing how our bones, muscles and nerves work together to help our body move.
- Locate where the major organs are in our bodies and talk about some of the consequences, diseases and conditions that may be caused if we don’t look after these organs.
When it comes to your child’s development, teachers and parents are better together! By aligning our goals and education techniques, we can better realise our vision of positively preparing your child for their future.
